Infrastructure Reliability Engineer

Sr. Infrastructure Reliability Engineer is responsible for designing and delivering secure and highly available solutions. Engineer at this position will be working closely with solution architects, developers, infrastructure, Information Security and Network Security in order to integrate new solutions into existing ecosystem. Engineer will also participate in on-call rotations for incidents support.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Configuration, deployment, maintenance, and support of Infrastructure services (LDAP, DNS, Mail, NTP, HTTP Proxy and Web Cache)
  • Configuration, deployment, maintenance, and support of Cloud Infrastructure services (DHCP, compute onboarding and OS deployment)
  • Configuration Management maintenance and support (Puppet, Salt)
  • Systems troubleshooting in a complex ecosystem
  • Disaster recovery planning and testing
  • Being part of an on-call rotation

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 years experience in system administration
  • Strong understanding of security concepts (Access Control, Vulnerability Management, Encryption)
  • Expert knowledge of TCP/IP stack, OSI model
  • Expert Linux experience (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Strong programming or scripting skills (Python, Ruby, Go, etc)
  • Experience with at least one configuration management tools (Puppet, Salt, Chef, etc)
  • Experience working with Linux distribution and repositories
  • Experience managing and deploying load balancers (F5 LTM/GTM, Citrix Netscaler)
  • Experience managing and deploying open source SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Experience deploying systems in a virtualized and/or containerized environment
