Mobile Build and Release Engineer
As a member of the DevOps team, you will work with all groups to provide automated product delivery of the core eBay Mobile application. The responsibility of this role will vary with the weather. One day you will be doing test driven development in Python; later you'll debug Jenkins job executions; and before things are said and done, you'll be working on ELK log analysis.
- Maintain and improve Ansible based Infrastructure as Code.
- Jenkins / Gradle job debugging.
- Improve system monitoring and log analysis tools, data, and reporting.
- Test driven develop in Python / Django / Ansible.
- Debug builds, apps, and systems when something isn't as expected.
- Interact directly with Development, QA, and DevOps daily, ensuring product delivery.
- Java / Android / Gradle
- Docker (Kubernetes & Swarm)
- Django / Flask
- Automated Testing
- Configuration Management (Ansible)
- CI/CD automation (Jenkins, Groovy, Gradle)
- Flexibility and organizational capacity to work on multiple projects at once
- Good foundation in computer science fundamentals
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
