As a Sr. Recruiter for Israel, you will be based in our R&D Centre which is instrumental in the development of multiple components of eBay’s global platform. You will be part of the European Recruiting team, a highly motivated team of professionals focused on bringing top talent into eBay to help drive the business forward whilst delivering outstanding candidate experience. You will recruit top tech talent for our Research Teams, Structured Data, Seller Insights, Buyer Experience and Business Analytics in Israel.

We are looking for a senior recruiter who is comfortable with taking on the challenge of recruiting top tech talent in a competitive market - if you’re looking for a challenging role managing full cycle recruitment, this is it!

You will work alongside the best and the brightest across both recruiting and the people team as well as the business and technical functions. You need to be dynamic, collaborative, and curious as we build new experiences and improve existing processes that power the world’s largest e-commerce website at a scale few companies can match.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner and build trusting, strong relationships with the business, including global senior stakeholders and technical leads
  • Lead full cycle recruiting process for multiple, complex openings from sourcing through to offer negotiations
  • Mentor and guide hiring managers on recruiting related policies, processes and interview skills whilst being a go-to market expert for the Israel R&D centre
  • Build strong pipelines through building networks, actively prospecting potential candidates and attract new talent to eBay Israel and support recruiting needs across other European Locations too
  • Build strong relationships with People Team functions such as People Operational Teams, People Business Partner, Compensation, Global Mobility and DE&I Teams
  • Mentor and coach junior recruiting team members
  • Manage and actively participate in Recruitment related projects of varying complexity, importance, and priority
  • Contribute to the development of the annual Recruitment planning, budgeting, and strategy development.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a technical recruiter in a corporate environment, preferably within the eCommerce industry
  • Proven experience in a high growth and/or fast-paced environment with proven experience in achieving hiring targets
  • Strong relationship building and management skills
  • Expert knowledge of sourcing including Boolean search
  • Advanced understanding of full lifecycle professional recruiting, including negotiations of complex offers with candidates
  • Demonstrated skills in building networks within the technical talent market in Israel and potential candidates
  • Previous people management, mentoring and coaching experience preferred
  • Fluent English and Hebrew skills, additional languages an advantage
  • Working knowledge of ATS tools and technologies (Workday and Greenhouse preferred)
  • Strong MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize simultaneously and work independently
  • Resilient and self-confident with the ability to think on your feet while under pressure.
