In Denmark, we operate three leading sites. dba.dk - Bilbasen.dk and Bilinfo.net with an average of over 2 million unique visitors a month, which makes us one of the largest online destinations in Denmark. With a consistent track record in customer-led innovation we aim to go even further, to evolve our platforms to deliver an experience which customers love. All product development on our platforms is carried out in-house, based out of our office in Aarhus, Denmark where around 120 people are based.

Are you into modern web development, and have proven experience in building websites using modern web framework and libraries? As a Frontend Developer you will join a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team, where you will work with tech and business people to build state of the art websites focusing on both technical performance and amazing UX. Among other things that means participating in our ongoing journey to improve and optimize our frontend tech stack.
- Build upon and improve the Bilbasen, Bilinfo and DBA websites
- Write automated tests to ensure good quality
- Play a key role in your team process from idea generation, running experiments and final implementation
- Help to continuously improve development work in all areas (coding, processes, tools, testing, etc.)
- Join our Frontend Guild to share knowledge, align and share code among all our apps
You are a curious software engineer with a good knowledge of what it means to work with large and/or distributed systems. The person we are looking for has solid knowledge of React.js, and an open mind for learning in an ever-evolving frontend environment. Furthermore, we need someone who lives and breathes Agile development.
Below are the qualifications we will be expecting of you - you do not need to meet all of them, but any is a plus
- Good experience with React.js - and modern JS/UI frameworks and libraries in general
- TypeScript and solid understanding of HTML/JS/CSS
- Node.js/NPM and experience with building shareable component packages
- Basic experience in SEO and Server-Side-Rendering
- User experience and sense of user interface aesthetics
- Automated test e.g. Jest/Selenium
- Continuous Integration / Delivery of frontend assets
- Google Analytics / Tag Manager
- Agile software development
