About the team:

Classifieds is shaping the future of local commerce by bringing people together through an enriched online experience that allows them to work closely with the community around them. We are comprised of more than 1,000 people who are passionate for local trade and maintaining the customer-centric nature of the Group, while exploring growth opportunities in both the countries where eBay Classifieds Group already has a presence and in prospective markets.

Key Account Manager

You will join a growing team responsible for executing on our advertising strategy, and supporting our existing and new business clients. Be responsible for managing both manual and programmatic deals from start to finish and growing those client relationships. You will be part of a team that ensures all advertising campaigns go live without a hitch, troubleshoot any deal setup issues, are successfully optimized, and perform to client standards. Also, this role includes the development and delivery of performance reports to clients and benchmarking those results against similar campaigns. Your success is measured in a number of ways, predominantly by revenue-driven quarterly targets.

The role is combination of technical and commercial skills

We are looking for someone who is passionate about digital (programmatic) advertising, great at client service, an excellent problem solver, and a quick learner.

As an Account Manager within our team you will balance between both the Farmer and Hunter role.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Interacting with top advertising agencies and trading desks on major accounts
  • Interacting with the top 500 direct advertisers
  • Managing the delivery of manual, programmatic and new business ad campaigns to ensure they fulfil and run properly
  • Working with, and meet quarterly targets
  • Develop an in-depth understanding and define the future of mobile advertising, data and programmatic sales towards the organization in order to support and optimize our product portfolio
  • Working closely with the Operations team to ensure client satisfaction
  • Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years proven experience in account management, preferably within the automotive and/or digital advertising landscape.
  • BA/BS degree
  • Hunger for challenge and opportunity, rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • You are client service and operations focused, extremely detail-oriented, exceptionally organized, and have the ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts
  • You possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to define, develop and implement growth initiatives in a rapidly changing environment
  • Exceptional collaboration skills
  • Presentation skills, comfortable being in front of a group (internal and external)
  • Self starter – entrepreneur to drive new business
  • Strong understanding and interest in media advertising and its products
  • The mindset to go that extra mile when needed and celebrate success after achievements
  • Experience at a programmatic trading desk or agency is a plus
  • Product, partnership, or technical experience in mobile companies or teams focused on mobile within web companies is a plus
