Salesmanager Binnendienst Automotive – Marktplaats.nl

Marktplaats.nl is founded in 1999 and since then developed as the most popular e-commerce platform of the Netherlands. With 8.2 million visitors a month and 350.000 new listings per day, we reach more than half of the Dutch internet population. The described vacancy is located within the business division of Marktplaats focusing on Advertising, business listing solutions, Automotive and Marktplaats Daily Deals.

As a Salesmanager Binnendienst you will be responsible for:

  • overseeing the performance of the inside sales team (3 account managers). You develop the Inside sales strategy, define the KPI’s and execute and monitor the performance of the team. 

  • Coordinate marketing/ sales campaigns with our external call center. At the call center we have lined up 20 dedicated account managers.

Superior sales, management and presentation skills are required to achieve results.

Your Responsibilities will Include:

  • You develop a strategy, define the KPI’s and execute and monitor the performance of the team.  
  • Develops account plans by actively gathering and reviewing information to identify high-level strategic opportunities.
  • Focuses on the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation within existing assignments, and long-term strategic goals.
  • Prepares powerful business presentations utilizing data and insights
  • Discusses advertising solutions with the customer; understands and promotes Marktplaats products and services meaningful to each customer’s business objectives.
  • Responsible for all client communications.
  • Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner while maintaining excellent customer relations.
  • Responds to client's needs with a sense of urgency.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of new and existing product offerings as well as new products in the market, industry trends and new developments; understands current competitive conditions within the marketplace.
  • Excellent time and territory management skills required
  • Ability to effectively communicate with C-Suite executive level contacts
  • Overall strong communication and teamwork skills in order to ensure strategies are executed upon at the Rooftop level.

Experience Required:

  • 3+ years’ experience in leading a sales team.
  • 5+ years proven experience in account management, preferably with experience in the automotive and/or digital advertising landscape.
  • Bachelor degree.
  • Consistent track record and experience with C-level professionals.
  • Structured approach to day to day activities.
  • Ability to operate within a matrix organization.
  • Ability to deal with tight deadlines and priorities.
  • Key Account Management Capabilities.
  • Result Driven.
  • Communication & Listening skills.
  • Fluent English is a plus.
