The role is focused on helping translating the technology strategy into an actionable, executable and measureable operating plan.
The role is critical in supporting the business in order to evaluate and measure success of our technology programs.
The role will report to the Director of Finance for OCTO and will work closely with the many key partners through the business.
You will help to articulate how technology can best achieve business objectives, to assist with presenting to business leaders finding facts and figures with understanding the business model, what affects net margin;
Focus on measurement and return on technology investments for eg utilizing the OKR framework;
Provide business partners with relevant analysis and support them throughout the decision-making process;
Ensure delivery of reports/dashboards that meet business stakeholder requirements and facilitate ongoing trend analysis;
You will define best-fit reports/dashboards for business use cases;
Ensure continued data governance (quality, integrity, completeness, timeliness, etc.) such that all reports/dashboards are trustworthy and reliable;
Present analysis and insights in engaging and easily understood ways (using tools such as Tableau);
Identify, and, as required implement/project manage, continuous improvement analytical projects to deliver improvements to business processes and insight;
Conduct act-based analysis to spot industry shifts and to understand companies’ sources of high-reaching advantage as a foundation for clear, differentiated product and technology strategy;
Learning about new technologies and helping to assess their potential to become new services. Demonstrate domain knowledge and expertise, such as business model development, financial modeling, organizational strategy etc.
A degree in Business, Finance, Planning or related with at least 7 years’ experience in business strategic planning.
3-5 years’ experience in a strategic role, in a consulting or professional services environment is a plus.
Experience with business case analysis, and a working knowledge of various analysis methodologies.
A proven track record of developing, implementing, & representing cross-group initiatives
