The Global Billing Platform Engineering Team is looking for an experienced Java Developer to help build and maintain platforms for our Business and Operations partners. Platform Engineering is responsible for delivering platform solutions for Global Billing, Payments, and Risk.
Key responsibilities will include working in a team environment to Plan, Design, and Develop critical technology for enabling management of Billing, Payments, and Risk processes for eBay and its subsidiaries.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work with stakeholders to create flexible, scalable, and reliable solutions
- Develop tools, platforms, and processes to support the Billing, Payments, and Risk businesses
- Continuous improvement of operational processes, such as automation and controls to help with efficiency and quality of both manual and technical operations
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Strong experience of Object-oriented programming with Java.
- Experience with Enterprise software development.
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate (strong understanding of ORM concepts)
- Experience with Relational Databases.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP Web Services
- Experience working with Tomcat and other App/Web Servers
- Experience with Maven
Nice to have:
- Unix Shell scripting
- UI experience with Angular JS
