We are undertaking an expansion of our design programs and looking to onboard talent in the immediate future.

As the Event Producer, you will collaborate with the studio creative and design operations and programming teams to help build and scale events and programs for eBay Design.

Responsibilities range from interfacing with multidisciplinary designers to develop content for event assets and collateral to planning and producing events from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and produce Design-sponsored events from conception to completion
  • Liaise with partner teams on the studio’s involvement in non-design sponsored company events
  • Communicate project status and any associated risk to Design Programs lead.
  • Consult on projects, providing the best delivery routes, methodologies, and best practices, and advise on how to secure preferred outcomes while maintaining concept integrity
  • Manage production schedules in connection with a series of events and programs with interconnected and competing deadlines.
  • Liaise with team of multidisciplinary designers to secure assets for collateral and event media
  • Track KPIs against success metrics and provide status reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience as an event producer, event manager, or similar role
  • Exceptional time and project management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage uncertainty and switch between discovery and delivery tracks in a single conversation
  • Ability to stay abreast of trends and best practices in Design, technology, and pop culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in communications, Public Relations, Event Management, or related field
