Department Global Content team - Seller Marketing Comms and Partnerships

Reporting to Content Lead, Global Content

Primary Objective We are looking for an outstanding, digital-savvy, strategic and creative communications professional that, in line with business objectives, will manage content strategy and produce informative, educational, and inspiring content for eBay.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Build & maintain B2B editorial content for eBay, the Seller Center, email marketing campaigns, video scripts and other communications.

  • Build English source content suitable for localization and translation into many other markets.

  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.

  • Ability to condense longer texts into shorter texts that send a clear yet powerful message.

  • Understand and implement eBay tone of voice and branding guidelines.

  • Ensure consistency and high-quality content.

  • Build content in Marketing Cloud and bespoke content management systems.

  • Guide content through eBay approval processes involving multiple partners.

Planning, Support and Management

  • Foster, manage and maintain relationships with Content Managers, Language Specialists, Business Managers, Marketing and Legal departments.

  • Managing competing needs and being sensitive to the areas of the business.

  • Use analytics insights to improve content and marketing performance.

  • Assist in crafting messaging and content guidelines.

  • Support in strategy development with the wider marketing team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience.

  • Degree or significant experience in a relevant field.

  • Native English speaker required.

  • Outstanding copywriting, proofreading and editing skills.

  • Experience in B2B copywriting and video script writing.

  • Ability to work independently and proactively contribute to the wider global content team.

  • Approachable, collaborative, driven and creative problem-solving approach.

  • Basic project management skills.

  • Experience managing multiple partners and priorities.

  • Good organization and time management skills.
