Our local team is responsible for the full product life cycle including product management and design, development, analytics & user intelligence, customer insights, marketing, trust & safety and customer service. You’ll be the first Senior Researcher (f/m/d) to join us and as such, you’ll have an excellent combination of challenge and opportunity in establishing your role and have an impact.
You understand all research needs of different teams within eBay Kleinanzeigen, consolidate existing research, identify gaps and prioritize and drive ongoing and new quantitative and qualitative user research.
You facilitate cross-functional research, drive understanding of needs and, together with your skilled colleagues, develop ideas to test and implement.
You deliver and guide full hands-on research
You ensure the right balance between pragmatism and quality in research.
You mentor colleagues on research practices.
You team up with different partners within eBay Kleinanzeigen and other eBay Classifieds Group entities to ensure transparency and alignment in the area of research.
You have 3+ years of experience in UX and market research for digital products in an agile environment. Ideally with consumer and business customers.
You are proficient at identifying and applying the best research methodology for the learning goals at hand
You have been a consultant to different departments regarding research in previous roles.
You have a customer-centric mindset and couple it with a strong understanding of our business.
You have strong analytical skills, including the ability to define problems, collect data, communicate results and arrive at valid conclusions.
Ideally you have acquired strong presentation skills in your previous jobs including to-the-point storylining and convincing communication at all levels of the organization.
You are capable of operating in a fast-paced environment, across multiple teams and of balancing multiple priorities.
You challenge the status quo with the ability to articulate a path to get there.
You have excellent collaboration, communication and organization skills.
You inspire others and are good at what you are doing, but are always curious and feel that you have much left to learn.
You already use eBay Kleinanzeigen.
You are fluent in German and English.
