The EU Transportation and Logistics team that enables eBay deliveries powered by Shutl is looking for a driven individual to join our recently formed team to lead the development of our UK partnership.

To develop and deepen existing relationships (Carriers, 3PL, partners, etc) and ensure that they are able to deliver eBay’s Delivery Experience service promise to its customers, both in the short term and for future developments. To support the EU Transportation and Logistics team in the development of Delivery Experience services within the UK through the evaluation and onboarding of new carriers and partners. To review and promote the development of new carrier and partner services that may prove beneficial to eBay’s customers. Monitor and review existing partner performance, coverage and service products to ensure performance is maintained, identify areas of improvement and seek opportunities of enhancing the carrier network and consumer offering.

  • Hold quarterly review meetings with existing settled partners and carriers (Hermes, CollectPlus, DHL, wnDirect)
  • Hold monthly meetings with new and developing partners within the implementation and scaling phase (Royal Mail, UPS, DPD, UK Mail)

Provide a European view of the performance of the Reseller solution, progress against goals, metrics and budget by liaising with the individual country Business Unit teams.

Work closely with the Product Development organisation to support the implementation of new initiatives as request by eBay/Shutl management. Review, edit and agree Operational Specifications, Service Specifications and Commercial Terms for partner contracts with a view to simplifying and speeding up the contract agreement process. Develop best practice carrier management processes that can be transferred to other parts of the organisation.

Review competitive carrier pricing on a regular basis across the market and highlight movement or activities that might impact Shutl’s competitive position. Investigate and evaluate potential new UK carriers as needed by service requirements and new business.
