Position Summary

We are searching for a highly motivated Head of Collectibles, Media & Luxury to report to the Verticals & sales director. The role’s objective is to drive the performance of the Collectibles (Arts & Antiques / Collections), Media (Books, Comics, Discs) and Luxury (Watches, Jewelry, Accessories, Handbacgs, Sneakers) vertical in France from traffic to revenue.

The role involves a lot cross functional work with an international remit. You will work with a range of partners: Commercial, Marketing, Verticals & Legal leaders in France, product development, product engagement or Customer services teams will all be regular contacts. There will be a small team of direct reports you will manage.

Job Description Summary

Define the inventory and growth strategy for Collectibles, Media & Luxury vertical from definition to execution, in partnership with eBay’s cross functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inventory analysis & recommending improvement options on supply side
  • Leading your team operational cadence (strategic planning, decision making, reporting, performance analysis)
  • Identifying and implementing inventory optimization & improvements levers to be worked with your team and in collaboration with cross functional teams
  • Leading our strategy and execution of key enablers: liaising with product engagement and development teams, external partnerships, growth of international sales (imports & exports)

You will have:

  • A strong knowledge of the Arts & Antiques, Media and/or Luxury industries, preferably with online & digital experience
  • Proven experience owning the delivery of strategies and projects from roadmap to delivery in a highly collaborative culture
  • Experience in leading innovation and change
  • Track record of excellent ability to collaborate & facilitate teamwork across various functions and departments
  • International experience and experience in technology a plus.
  • Reputation as a resilient inclusive people/project leader, comfortable operating with small teams
  • Enjoying operating in fast paced and agile organisations

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience preferably with web companies
  • Fluent in French and English (oral and written)
  • Strong commercial skills
