A leader in vehicle ecommerce, eBay Vehicles aims to be the source that consumers shop first when searching for cars, trucks, motorcycles, commercial trucks and other specialty vehicles.

In this role, you are responsible for the full sales cycle including, prospecting, qualifying, communicating, and closing automotive decision makers on the eBay proposition. You will build your pipeline in person (travel required), over the phones, and in video conferencing within your designated area.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a balanced pipeline of prospects to consistently meet and exceed target revenue.
  • Prospect and qualify leads.
  • Initiate contact with targets.
  • Present eBay value proposition.
  • Close sales.
  • Generate referrals.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
  • Effectively close deals with qualified dealers. Gain client commitment to deliver competitive selection, pricing and product selection on eBay Vehicles platform.
  • Consistently achieve/exceed sales targets.
  • Work in cross functional team to grow your area through account acquisition and retention.
  • Form relationships across dealership organizations via face to face visits, telephone, webinar, and digital platforms.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the eBay Value proposition relevant to the eBay Motors business vertical.
  • Optimally form relationships and generate referral leads and reputation in your area.
  • Document all communication with dealers in an accurate and timely manner in established CRM systems - ensuring highlights are communicated and understood by internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure smooth transition and handover of acquired dealers to account management team; working with both the Integration team and assigned Account Manager.
  • Set appropriate dealer expectations around Enterprise, Strategic or Key level account support, on-boarding support, timing, and cost of sale.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of full cycle business to business sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Automotive industry experience a plus.
  • Sales Force experience a plus
  • Ability to optimally communicate through all mediums. Verbal, written, and listening.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.

Optimum Candidate:

  • Self starter
  • Doesn't require constant or consistent supervision
  • Has, and wants a portion of their income based on commissioned sales
  • One who is not afraid to cold call on car dealerships
  • Great communicator
