As the Senior Manager of Seller Content & Engagement, you’ll be responsible for defining how eBay engages with the small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) selling on the marketplace. The work you do will help a diverse range of individuals to grow their businesses online. It’s an opportunity to truly make a difference.

This is a role based in the United States with partnerships across North America, the EU, UK and other markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the content, engagement, education, and social media marketing strategy for SMB sellers
  • Develop innovative and inspiring multi-channel engagement programs to attract and retain eBay sellers
  • Creating promotional & marketing materials for all seller engagement channels to raise awareness and adoption of all channels
  • Partner with global teams to develop in-market strategies and localize them as needed
  • Drive, optimize and scale social media channels on multiple platforms; lead team of content and social media managers
  • Manage executive communications content creation including slides and talking points for seller-facing comms and events
  • Manage relevant vendors and partner relationships to develop and implement content across internal and external channels
  • Lead and grow annual seller enablement grants
  • Guide content through eBay approval processes involving multiple partners
  • Lead content strategy and content teams on e-learning programs
  • Oversee production of multimedia content for eBay’s on-site Community, YouTube, Facebook and other social media platforms
  • Ensure that all content is aligned with global brand guidelines and templates
  • Manage a small team of direct reports and agencies
  • Influencer engagement and monitoring
  • Budgeting and budget management
  • Reporting on KPIs

Skills Needed

  • 8-10 years’ relevant experience including B2C marketing, community management, organic social media marketing and influencer engagement.
  • Track record of developing innovative engagement programs
  • Effective communicator who encourages collaboration
  • Strong people-manager.
  • Proven experience producing video, audio and other interactive content. Ideally, some experience of producing executive content.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to foster collaboration, value other perspectives and gain support and consensus across a wide partner network.
  • Works well under pressure, professional and resilient, can do attitude.
  • Results-driven.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
