The Corporate Finance Manger is a world-class financial business partner supporting the Corporate ‘Global Human Resources and Global Communications’ where they oversee the financial planning, analytics and budget operations.  They interact with, influence, and have a significant impact on the leadership team within these financial operations.

Great businesses need great managers. You will ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution and help forge strategic partnerships. Help drive key decisions and execution on initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Guide financial strategy for Global HR and Global Communications at eBay.
  • Impact the future direction of and develop relationships with business leaders across eBay Inc.
  • Develop the financial strategy by partnering with the business leaders and the Corporate Finance team to identify and execute on long-term financial goals of the business.
  • Lead corporate finance training for business partners to drive operational excellence in executing the financial goals and maintaining internal compliance.  
  • Support and advise business partners on projects, ROI and on developing key growth areas, partnerships and new opportunities.
  • Lead the financial planning and monthly forecasting for the Global HR and Global Communications business units.

  • Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork, initiative, and integrity
  • Proven track record working effectively with senior, mid-level, and junior colleagues to drive results across a broad organization and diverse set of businesses
  • The necessary confidence, interpersonal awareness, and poise to work effectively with business and finance leaders, internally and externally
  • High energy and superb attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and deliver in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written and presentations.
  • A global mind-set and ability to work effectively with people and teams from various cultures and time zones
  • Ability to identify and take on critical projects, as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic/changing environment
  • Possess good judgment and mature decision-making skills. Diplomatic yet assertive, with an ability to push back when needed and to know when to follow up with others

    Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of increasingly responsible experience in finance leadership roles
  • Ideal candidates will possess an MBA or other relevant advanced degree
