We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Digital Marketing Intern to become part of our team in Toronto, Canada. Whilst based in Canada, you have the exciting opportunity to work within a team that is globally supporting brands across the world.

The eBay Classifieds Global Growth Team is responsible for leading world class digital marketing activity across our portfolio of global sites. The team are responsible for creating, managing and innovating digital marketing strategy and activity with the goal to support business growth and success.

Job Description:

As the Digital Marketing Intern, you will support our Paid Digital Marketing team to develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to drive growth in our key paid acquisition and retention channels. We are seeking to hire 1 intern who enjoys building digital marketing advertising campaigns, able to use marketing technology to take data-driven decisions to uncover new digital opportunities and help solve exciting business challenges, as well as interacting with our staff and senior leaders to drive business results.

Build Digital Marketing campaigns: learn how to build marketing campaign through key online channels such as paid search, display and social campaigns with digital media partners.

Monitor and optimize Digital Marketing activity: you will be hands on, always striving for increased performance and reaching above and beyond to meet and exceed core KPIs to drive business growth.

Analyse and report results: high level of analytical skills required and ability to understand data and the story it tells. Assist the team to report findings in a clear manner and identify additional opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A passion for digital marketing. Paid digital campaign managerial experience is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with self-driven initiative to continue learning and drive for success
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytically minded; ability to identify performance opportunities and root causes to problems
  • Familiarity with online commerce, digital analytics and measurement (Google Analytics)
  • Understanding of digital marketing ecosystems (Google Ads, Facebook, etc.)
  • Written in French language is an asset
  • Enrol in accredited University degree, in business or commerce preferred.
