Sr. Software Engineer, Backend.

Job Duties: Deliver highly scalable server side java-based applications that will support a responsive web experience. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other team members. Fast prototyping of experimental ideas. Plan, prioritize, experiment, design, code, unit-testing, bug fixing, site rollout, documentation. Develop innovative solutions that not only meet functionality requirements but meet performance, scalability and reliability requirements while adhering to implementation schedules, development principles and product goals. Independently design, code and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex features. Define product requirements, estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, rollout system changes and evaluate product performance.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/development or systems analytics or Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/development or systems analytics.
