We are looking for a Senior Product Manager (w/m/d) to join our team.
eBay’s Marketing Technology organization is responsible to advertise eBay’s inventory to hundreds of millions of customers. The Tracking, Attribution & Data Sharing Product Manager is responsible to build and improve our infrastructure to track and measure ads performance. As the CEO of the product, the PM will own the vision and execution of this key component in eBay's marketing platform. eBay is looking for a strong product leader well versed in large system infrastructure with very solid technical understanding and phenomenal communication skills. Internal partner management and great product vision are key to success in this role. Daily responsibilities are around capturing input, leading investigations, translating into actionable product plans and prioritizing delivery without losing focus on the long-term. This role should have deep knowledge of real time data processing, system design and unique talent to connect business ideas to highly complex technical integrations.
Stay current on the current marketing and ads measurement landscape. Advise and influence partners to capitalize on opportunities. Maintain and groom the product backlog, create user stories and gather requirements. Balance short term priorities with long term investments. Build trust with partners by maintaining an understandable, accurate roadmap. Collaborate with other product owners to insure seamless integrations and reduce redundant services. Maintain collaborative relationships with engineers. Proactively communicate with internal partners on opportunities, issues, requests, vision and rationale. Manage external partner relationships, influence their roadmap, provide guidance, prioritization and handle issue resolutions.
Desired traits and experience:
5+ years experience with large real time systems as a strong agile product owner. Solid communication skills and habits and a must-have.
You will have the ultimate mandate of driving the strategy and delivery for a suite of shared services that power the broader eBay marketing organization. Your scope and impact is highly visible and global. To thrive in this role, you will need drive, energy and a positive mindset to motivate others. Furthermore, we need someone who is passionate about building great products and is able to dig into deep technical details. Experience working in the digital space around Display, Social, Affiliate and Search Marketing is desirable.
