We are seeking a seasoned professional to join the performance marketing finance team. You will be part of a global team that's responsible for partnering with regional finance and marketing teams in making sure that the company's marketing dollars are spent in the most efficient way. Your primary responsibility is to provide consistent actionable insights to regional finance teams in making decisions about investments in growth marketing. You will own, develop and maintain processes & mechanisms that allow for frequent reporting on marketing performance and to re-allocate investments between various marketing channels where necessary. As eBay's investments in specialized verticals grows, you'll design OKRs that are relevant for these new strategic marketing investments for eBay and bring them into the regular dialogue on marketing investments.

You should have a knack for studying performance trends, spot variances in results, and develop processes to ensure consistent financial reporting. Basic Qualifications:

  • minimal 4 years of work experience with emphasis on planning and forecasting, preferably in the area of performance marketing
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results within tight timelines
  • Strong communicating skills across a spectrum of partners, including senior executives
  • Analytical, curious and capable of analyzing complex data
  • Capable of making clear and concise recommendations based on objective analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related quantitative fields (Economics, Math, Statistics); Master’s degree preferred
  • Familiarity with channel mix modeling and/or related concepts
  • Previous experience working in performance marketing (search, affiliate, display, social, etc.) or demand channel operations a plus
  • Familiarity with CLV, incrementality, testing design and attribution modeling
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - we have a team full of passionate and skilled individuals who like taking on challenges
