Looking to make an impact on the future of global commerce? Do you want to shape how millions of people buy, sell, and engage around the world?

We are looking for a highly driven Senior Product Manager to join the Search Monetization team and develop the next generation of online advertising products in eBay search. Advertising drove over $1B in advertising dollars in 2021, and we have several new initiatives to grow advertising to $5B by 2025. You will work on new ad programs and new ad experiences to solve the core needs of our buyers and sellers.

The Search Monetization business line is a high priority investment that provides an opportunity for you to drive the strategy and make a big impact! You will excel in influencing the long-term product strategy and relentlessly executing the strategy in close collaboration with engineering and analytics teams. This is a highly visible role and you will work closely with various cross functional teams within search and ads.

If you are passionate about Product Management and excited by the scale and technical complexity of e-commerce search and advertising, come join us!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own product strategy and roadmap for several initiatives within Search Monetization
  • Build and prioritize product requirements based on data driven opportunity analysis
  • Influence key stakeholders to prioritize your roadmap for execution
  • Lead the execution of your roadmap by working with application, data science and design teams. Build MVPs, iterate fast and be the champion of execution excellence
  • Conduct AB tests for launch candidates and work with analytics teams to measure the impact on success metrics
  • Balance the often conflicting needs of buyers and sellers to grow the advertising business sustainably in the long-term

Requirements:

  • +5 years of strong product management experience with at least 3 years in ecommerce marketplaces and/or digital advertising. Experience in developing ad products in ecommerce search strongly preferred
  • Strong product sense - ability to understand consumer needs and figure simple ways to solve the needs
  • Metrics driven - ability to translate business objectives into actionable metrics
  • Relentless execution - ability to ship quality products in a fast paced and iterative manner
  • Builds strong relationships across various teams within eBay; an active listener and clear communicator; can lead by influence
