eBay runs cross border trade business in these markets, focused on international export and import. It’s led by a dynamic international team located in Hong Kong, Israel, China, Czech Republic, USA and Mexico.

eBay is looking for a Senior Customer success Manager, to handle our leading VIP sellers across our Emerging markets.

Based in Israel or Prague, scope is entire HiPo region (all emerging countries)

About the job

This is a key role for developing and growing eBay’s marketplace VIP Sellers business.

The essence of the role is to drive top seller success on eBay global platform, manage the post-sales relationship for strategically significant sellers. Serve as the primary seller contact and advocate for day-to-day and escalated issues and requests.

As a Senior Customer success Manager, you will be in close collaboration with the marketing and communication team, product teams, policy, customer support, logistics and integration 3r parties, finance, legal & analytics teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Help grow eBay’s VIP sellers GMV.
  • Be a seller advocate, waking up thinking about how you are going to satisfy our sellers every day.
  • Scale up top seller activities by providing constructive business consultation and key business issue diagnosis
  • Work internally and externally to help sellers overcome obstacles.
  • Internally promote sellers, develop share of traffic.
  • Personally develop relationships with key sellers
  • Implement tools and processes to achieve CS and GMV goals
  • Improve seller trust & safety metrics performance through problem identification, issue diagnosis, solution providing and business implementation to grow sustainable business.
  • Build Top seller growth plans, identify growth important metrics, and work on deployment with key accounts.
  • Provide regularly one-to-one or one-to-many platform related training to managed sellers

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years experience in customer success in a cross-cultural environment
  • Experience in the e-commerce, media, telecom, or technology sector.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English fluently. Russian and/or other languages an advantage

Job Requirements:

  • Experience building and handling clients and growing clients business.
  • Strong knowledge in e-commerce and tech space
  • Strong analytical and business skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Effective relationship-building, facilitation, and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work and lead projects in a cross-functional environment which spans different fields and teams.
  • Able to handling multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail
  • Great at solving problems using data and flexible in your problem solving approach.
