In the young, dynamic and internationalDemand andAdvertising Operations(D&AO)team, we are looking foranDigital Advertising Strategy Manager Netherlandstojointhe team, with a proven track record in online campaign managementandoptimization, to drivegrowth and success for our advertisers on our platforms(Marktplaats.nl, 2dehands.be and 2ememain.be).

With 40,000 brands advertising on our platform each year, yourprimary responsibility isensuring our customer’s success by managing the onlineadvertising (display)campaigns of ourtop-tierdirect-managedadvertisers, from the moment of entry, continuous performance improvements and final evaluations. You are theday-to-daycontact for our account managers, media agencies, trading desks and will provide advice to bothnationaland international advertisers to ensure their campaignswillhavemaximum impactby leveraging all our formats and extensive targeting options.

TheD&AO teamis part oftheAdvertiser Success team, which isamulti-disciplinaryteam consisting ofDemand,Ad Tech,Yield and Data specialistswho closely collaborate with each other and liaise with the Advertising Sales Teamdaily.

Together we’re responsible for allthird partyadvertising on our platform. Think of Display,Adsense, branded content and video. 

Your responsibilities / role:

Managing display,videoand contentadvertising campaigns:

  • Fully responsible for managing display,videoand contentadvertising campaigns for ourtop tier clients: media agencies and advertisers.

  • Being the expert in how our customers can best reach their goals through advertising onourplatformsusing our advertising technology(Google AdManager 360).

  • Maintaining contact with trading desks & media planners to optimize running campaignsand to spot opportunities.

  • Ensure proper planning, forecasting, order entry, monitoring, reporting and evaluating campaigns.

  • Ensure pro-active analysis of running campaigns, identify and solve problems, delegating resolution of bugs (e.g., in material or the technical back end) and answering questions from our customers.

  • Liaise with our externalAdOpspartnerandinternalstakeholders, for proper campaign planning, invoicing and reporting. 

Driving Advertiser Success and commercial support :

  • Partner up with the Advertising Sales Account managers and visiting our customers (agencies, trading desks, advertisers) tounderstandanddrivetheirsuccess.

  • Collaborating closely with the Senior Digital Advertising Strategy Manager BNL and Team Lead BNL to drive the execution of the Sales Excellence Plan forMarktplaatstogether with the Advertising Sales Account Managers.

  • Proactively provide Advertising Sales Account managers and agency planners with advice on how we can optimize the running campaigns to reach the KPIs and make the best out of their spends.

  • Actively identify commercial opportunities, think along with our customers and account managers to ensure success, expand budgets, and secure additional advertising campaigns.

  • Createproof points of success of our advertising proposition,e.g.by developing award winning cases with ourclients and/or technology partners. 

Jobrequirements:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in the advertising industry (client-side, agency, publishing or a mix).

  • Very strong knowledge of programmatic display & video advertising,experience with GoogleAdManager360 isa must.

  • Analytic and data-drivento analyze and optimize running campaigns

  • Flexible way of working. - able to cope with a fast-changing environment

  • Able to work independently and within a group tomanage several projects with tight deadlinesand topush projects to completion

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Full English professional proficiency (written and verbal) is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of full(digital) marketing (upper and lower funnel, branding and performanceadvertising channels) to develop best-in-classintegrated campaigns

  • Genuine interest in (digital) advertising and marketing, and the latest the developments in our (advertising and e-commerce) industry

  • Experience with online advertising tools (DSPs,AdXor others).

  • Experience with data management platforms and audience selection.

  • Flexible, kind, enthusiastic attitude with the willingness to walk the extra mile.

  • Comfortable in presentingto internal and external stakeholder. 

  • Dutch Language Proficiency is a plus, as you will be working with clients in the NL market!
