eBay Daily Deals team is looking for an associate analytics manager who can define tracking & reporting priorities for strategic goals and ensure we are tackling the most important business problems and surfacing the best data and information to make efficient business decisions across our deals program.

An ideal candidate will use a wide range of technologies, tools, methodologies, and analytic practices to address business challenges and deliver results while keeping their toolbox updated with the latest practices.

Roles & Responsibilities -:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Partner with the analytics team to ensure daily/ weekly tracking of deals & SFC financials are up to date

  • Assist the Ops team lead in daily and weekly tracking of deals performance versus plan & forecast.

  • Build dashboards & reports to track our critical metrics, enable easy data accessibility for other team members, and share the performance data out with key stakeholders/ partner teams

  • On-site KPI tracking & optimization

  • Weekly & quarterly tracking of deals page efficiency by modules/ containers; Includes trend analysis and page optimization

  • Weekly tracking of key traffic indicators like conversion, CTR, bounce rate on deals homepage

  • Monitor traffic performance by channel, by experience – identify trends & opportunities

  • Other strategic projects

  • Price related : Price demand elasticity tests, Analysis around discount depth, ASP by brand/ category etc.

  • Seasonality analysis to guide merchandizing calendar and weekly shopping themes; Identify trends at item/ brand/ ASP level

  • Identify revenue growth opportunities as well as supplements to current incentive options (in form of other buyer facing incentives)

  • Build performance indicators and goals to supervise key initiatives that further the deals learning agenda and are essential to overall deals strategic plan

  • Work closely with other team members to find opportunities to automate certain manual/ effort heavy internal operations processes

Qualifications -:

  • 3-5+ years experience in operations analytics/ retail analytics, preferably in an e-commerce environment

  • A love of analytics and the ability to drive closed-loop reporting from initial requirement gathering, design ideation, execution to sharing insights with partners

  • Experience with various BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI

  • Experience writing SQL and using spreadsheet software. You're handy with Excel with a knowledge of Macros
