About the Job:

The Sales Support Leader for our Seller Growth Team will proactively enable market place growth by developing long-term relationships with both the vertical category leaders in the business units and helping the team get results with strategic sellers. This individual will drive success in the following five key areas: North American Growth Accounts, Incubation (B2C) Accounts, Payments Onboarding Accounts, Ads product Adoption and Canadian Accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a highly visible ambassador for the eBay brand and an advocate for the role of GCX in the health of the marketplace.
  • Lead a high-performing team of exempt-level employees to generate both GMV and Revenue within the eBay seller community and contribute to the success of the North American marketplace.
  • Understand the needs of the Growth Advisors Key Stakeholders and utilize the team to support their business goals. Key Stakeholders include Category Managers, Incubation Team, Seller Acceleration Team, Communications Teams, Charity Team, 3rd Party Tools team, Ads Team and Seller Engagement team.
  • Set stretch goals for team to achieve demonstrable growth in Premium Services Seller accounts as measured by click-through, impressions and conversion targets.
  • Hold WBR’s and QBR’s with the Growth Advisor team to understand areas of success and areas of opportunity within their Book of Business (BoB).
  • Present to large audiences of varied partners from GCX executive leadership, BU Leaders, third party vendors, customers, local officials and the public.

Requirements:

  • +2 years Supervisory or Leadership experience in a Coaching rich environment.
  • +2 years experience specifically in eCommerce
  • Strong negotiator focused on outcomes that balance the requirements of the brand, the marketplace, trust and safety as well as the customer experience.
  • Capable of elevating the status of GCX throughout, identifying and balancing the needs of these key partners.
  • Excellent customer advocate, waking up thinking about how you are going to satisfy our internal and external customers every day.
  • Commercially focused, self-starter, you work autonomously and have a strong track record of achieving and surpassing targets.
  • Expert Communicator, able to present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including with executive leadership.
  • Proven at managing multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Great at solving problems and flexible in your approach.
  • A quick learner who can adopt new concepts or commercial tools easily.
  • Resilient through change.
  • Available for business travel (Seminars, Seller events and seller visits) and proudly represent eBay.
  • Skilled in prioritizing competing tasks.
  • Able to build strong & effective relationships with internal / external partner.
  • Expert User of these Tools: One Note, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Google drives, Microsoft Online, Survey Monkey, Salesforce, Agent Desktop, Webinars, Bix, & Seller Tools.
