Job description:

As a Growth Adviser, you will be the account manager for high-turnover and strategic Spanish sellers on eBay and responsible for building long-term relationships with your clients and proactively driving growth. You will build customized business plans to help each seller you support achieve their growth goals on eBay. You'll be the go-to person for all sales growth questions and conduct business reviews to ensure your clients' success.

You will be successful in the position of Growth Adviser if you consistently pursue your goals, enjoy working independently in a very dynamic and constantly evolving environment, and impress our sellers with your partnership and service-oriented communication.

You should have experience and enjoy up-selling and cross-selling various products, features and promotions. It is also crucial for this position that you have a detailed understanding of your customers' business and understand their needs. This is the only way you will be able to drive your sales reps' business and increase their sales.

You will:

  • To support our business sellers with all eBay-specific inquiries, including logistical issues
  • Be available for your customers by phone and e-mail and support them personally
  • Build balanced, long-term relationships with the sellers you support
  • To continuously analyze the use of our products and the performance of your customers and derive appropriate measures from the findings
  • You don't just answer questions, you are responsible for ensuring that our eBay sellers receive an outstanding customer service experience by finding solutions to their challenges
  • To have a deep understanding of customer needs and have an eye for improvement potential
  • Be pro-active, devising solutions to potential obstacles and discussing them with your customers on an ongoing basis - always keeping the bottom line in mind
  • You are a pro at offering our customers products or programs that support them. You actively approach our customers and convince them
  • Standard methodology sharing is very important to us! You are used to sharing your knowledge with customers and colleagues

You are

  • Commercially focused and have a strong track record of achieving and surpassing targets

  • Able to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Proven at managing multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

  • Great at solving problems and flexible in your approach

  • Experienced in dealing with passionate customers

  • Very familiar with e-commerce business models

  • Resilient through change

  • Ability to travel for business and proudly represent the eBay brand

  • Able to prioritize competing tasks

  • Good command of both Spanish and English required

  • Minimum 6 months commercial/MSO experience
