The Team

With innovative and exciting operational initiatives, the Authentication Operations team is a fast-paced and passion-filled team to be a part of.

Job Description & Tasks

Planning/Forecasting

  • Monitor packaging inventory health for Authenticate Operations and their Partners

  • Manage inventory levels, identify exceptions, and evaluate resolutions for gaps

  • Develop strategy optimizing for cost, allocation assignment, freight and industry trends

  • Compile purchase recommendations based on forecasted usage and execute purchase order placement based on vendor capacity constraints

  • Must have knowledge of demand and supply planning along with understanding of capacity planning

  • Provide updated supply forecasts monthly based on sold items and usage rate

Analysis and Reporting

  • Review supply inventory exceptions and organize data for resolution

  • Prepare data and material for updates and status meetings with Procurement Team

  • Prepare data and material for monthly supply review meetings

  • Support key stakeholders with weekly reporting

  • Conduct ad-hoc inventory analysis as needed

  • Manage spend and cost against budget

Communication

  • Strong listening, questioning, problem-solving and assessment skills.

  • Make suggestions to prioritize, expedite or delay open supplier Purchase Orders’.

  • Participates / chips in to weekly planning meetings with Internal Partners/Vendors

  • Participate / chips in to weekly planning meetings with Partners/Facilities

  • Escalates exceptions identified that result in supply shortages or gaps

Competencies & qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, Math, Finance, or comparable field

  • 7-10 years in Supply Chain Operations, in a buyer/planning capacity

  • Experience of forecasting techniques and inventory management.

  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, QlikView, Tableau, etc.) a plus. Experience in Fishbowl or equivalent IMS/WMS

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of inventory management and capacity planning

  • Comfortable and effective working cross-functionally at all levels and in a team environment

  • Adept at handling detailed daily tasks while also applying your own creativity to improve our current practice
