Role Description
We are seeking experienced advertising partnership professionals to help build and grow our relationships with our key sellers and brands. As an Assistant Brand Partnership Manager, you’ll be responsible for helping your assigned brands define success on eBay, utilising our market leading Product Listing suite to drive on-site growth for our sellers.
You will report to a Brand Partnerships Manager and will use your client side and agency relationships, consultative approach, and deep understanding of e-commerce and e-commerce media to act as a strategic partner for your clients.
Responsibilities:
Identify partnership and business development opportunities with a select group of high potential brands and sellers consistent with the eBay Ads strategy
Monitor and improve the key metrics for success
Define terms, negotiate and execute deals in complex situation
Work directly with sellers and brands to uncover their business needs and develop proposals for big accounts
Create business proposals that address a brand/sellers needs and is able to present and provide solutions
Collaborate across cross-functional teams at eBay to ensure partner success
Evaluate feature requests, gather detailed business requirements from Seller and work closely with our vertical teams to drive efficient and optimal solutions
Minimum qualifications:
3+ years of e-commerce media, Shopper Marketing, digital media, and partnership development
At least 3+ years of experience within Automative and/or Industrial category knowledge
History of success closing complex business deals
5+ years of leading client relationships, and working with senior client executives
Distinctive creative, strategic and analytical capabilities with a consistent track record of setting and delivering against measurable metrics.
Strong communication skills in both business and technical stakeholders, as peers and upwards, on cross-functional teams
Consistent track record of high-level negotiation
Ability to work within a highly matrixed organization with widely varied stakeholders
BA/BS
Ideal profile:
5+ years of experience in digital media or e-Commerce, with a strong preference for Automotive or Industrial category knowledge
Deep understanding of online advertising, search, ad-tech, and Digital media
Strong working relationship with consumer-facing product and engineering teams, ideally within the advertising space
Proven experience to thrive in a highly matrixed and multilayered environment, executive presence
Ability to operate in ambiguity and in a reactive workplace
