Part of eBay UK advertising team you will handle Promoted Listings and Display budgets on behalf of our clients. You’ll be working directly with exciting brands to improve their advertising performance. This role would suit a forward-thinking and experienced PPC advertising specialist with marketplaces, AdWords or similar in-house agency experience.
Skills and experience:
Demonstrated ability of running performance based advertising campaigns on behalf of clients
Previous Ecommerce experience
Understanding basic SEO/SERP Ranking
Google Ads/Microsoft Ads/Other Marketplaces experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to understand client's expectations, define objectives and deliver great results
Great attention to detail with a logical and methodical approach to problem-solving
Comfortable communicating and/or interacting with clients
Experience in reporting and analysing performance data
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
Consistent track record to meet deadlines
Proficient in written and spoken English, second language preferred
Core Responsibilities:
You will have autonomy to make tactical, creative or strategic recommendations and will also be a key part of building out the ongoing processes that support the execution of our advertising services. Specific callouts including:
Working with the full set of eBay PPC products (Promoted Listings Standard, Promoted Listings Advanced and Halo placements) you are responsible for building, improving the performance of your customers’ ad campaigns. This means using your e-commerce and advertising expertise, creativity and tactical brilliance to understand the customers’ objectives and deliver great results. Development of reporting and analytics to further improve team performance. Managing eBay Sellers Advertising Strategy – all aspects of advertising strategy, ranging from budget splits, selection listings to promote, competitor landscape and optimisation of campaigns. As well as supporting the creation of new processes, concepts and tools that drive efficiency and add to our existing playbook.
Your day to day:
Setup, monitor and optimise eBay Promoted Listings campaigns and Promoted Listing Keyword research
Daily control of Ad-Rates/Adoption % and spend across multiple accounts
Run post-campaign analysis and reporting on campaign effectiveness /performance
Implement eBay Advertising strategies including new product launch and test & learn
Present reports to different stakeholders within the business
Keep up to date with the latest eBay Ads products, updates and changes
Reporting and Running performance analytics both to clients and internally to the team, detailing the current performance of your ad campaigns, giving insight to the overall effectiveness and performance alongside recommended actions
Handling and reviewing client's advertising strategy as a whole - building client's PPC campaign portfolios, looking for new opportunities to improve and grow both ad sales and total sales
Supporting team learning and regularly bringing new learnings and ideas to the table
Regular and active communication with clients, building personalised reporting and presentation of relevant data to clients to ensure expectations are being met
