The team covers areas including:

  • Brand Strategy and Branding activations (under a globally aligned architecture and positioning)

  • Social Media Strategy

  • Media & Marketing planning

  • Consumer, Digital & Social Insights/Trend analysis

  • Week to week Retail marketing events

The Senior Brand Manager reports into the Head of Brand Marketing & Communications and will be based in Milan.

We are looking for an inspiring leader in the brand marketing space, love competition and driving growth and get passionate about the responsibility to represent eBay Italy in the constantly evolving retail environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define the successful brand narratives for eBay with the objective of growing the awareness and the consideration for new and existing buyers in Italy

  • Craft and develop ebay Social Media Strategy aligned with ebay brand equity and positioning

  • Lead social media channels in line with brand obj and target profiles

  • Coordinate community management through social media touch points

  • Build a rationale base to analyze social media performance (media campaign, brand attributes)

  • Develop and promote a proven three-year program and a strategic plan for Italy to lead short and long-term strategies for the category and brand with a strong focus at KPI’s monitoring

  • Handle marketing mix, brand activation and budget management

  • Own the development and the execution of the annual marketing plan, including ATL and BTL campaigns

  • Manage relationships with agency networks (Media, BTL, Digital, Research, etc.)

What we are looking for:

  • A wealth of experience in marketing, with strong experience in brand management (equity, positioning, insight) with the ambition to be the Brand guardian in IT market

  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix (product, place, promotion and price)

  • Strong experience in social media management in terms of channels, content, media and community management

  • Social and Influencers management

  • Experience in BTL activity with ability to lead content production

  • Ability to evaluate a full media plan with analysis of media touch points in overlapping with target audience

  • Confident working with large marketing budgets

  • Ability to manage and coordinate external resources

  • Ability to bring energy and optimism to the team and role
