About the team:

We are passionate about connecting buyers and sellers around the world and creating opportunities through commerce and technology. Our responsibilities include all aspects of eBay’s business in the EMEA region including eBay’s operations in major European markets -- UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain -- as well as driving growth in emerging markets such as Turkey.

Role:

This role will focus on the French market, supporting our B2C seller marketing team with B2C communications, executing our seller marketing programmes and delivering against our seller growth objectives.

The role, starting in April or May for 6 months, is based in Paris (working from home until expectedly September 2021), and requires working closely with the French and the EU Seller Marketing and business teams.

eBay's mission is to engage and partner with eBay professional sellers in order to help them grow their businesses on our global marketplace and to sell more easily.

Responsibilities:

Support planning and creative execution of the Seller marketing campaigns (ad hoc and Automated) based on our key company priorities, optimize their performance by monitoring, executing and testing. These campaigns go through various channels such as emails, banners, videos, social media, events, landing pages, partnerships, advertising...

You will also lead some Seller Engagement and Education activities such as Seller success stories videos, tutorial videos, work with partners, arrange external events, execute creative ideas to drive more traffic and generate more subscribers on our YouTube channel, eBay University...

This role has a high level of cross-functional collaboration, you'll work closely with other teams to get things done, such as the Content team, Vertical teams, Seller team, Costumer service, CRM team, Video team, etc.

Role Requirements

  • Hardworking standout colleague, with sense of humor, highly disciplined & organized, able to operate smoothly in a highly dynamic context.

  • Interest in digital and B2B marketing, an eagerness to develop skillsets in this area.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Confident and dynamic personality, excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication preferred.

  • French native speaker level, English fluently.

  • Interest in a career in digital marketing within the retail or online industry.
