As an integral leader in our People Team, you will be responsible for optimizing the user experience and enhancing adoption of People Team products and services through content creation, website design, lifecycle management, channel and marketing strategies. You will use various methods to understand employee needs across the employment lifecycle, where they are experiencing friction, and use a living feedback loop for continuous improvement.

The outcome is to enable our employees to easily find and access the resources they need, leading to more productive, engaged and less frustrated employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team, providing clear expectations, inspirational leadership, growth and development.

  • User experience and design around the whole suite of People Team products and services to drive the self-service and adoption strategy.

  • Design and develop website pages and functionalities. Determine information architecture and create sitemaps.

  • Apply a variety of methods to understand the user perspective, to evaluate the day-to-day people-related needs of employees; create personas.

  • Use design thinking and lifecycle management to improve the user-experience and ability for employees to efficiently find the people-related information they need, when they need it.

  • Drive improvements through content creation, compelling presentation of information, usability, findability, improved web design, search functionality, information accessibility and clarity, feedback loops, and marketing and communications, applying a variety of channels at moments that matter to drive absorption.

  • Prioritize projects and features based on impact and alignment with the team’s long-term goals and strategy

  • Think end-to-end from the employee perspective and collaborate across COE’s to facilitate improvements across the People Team.

Job Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to simplify complex data and problems, and to communicate effectively at an executive level.

  • Web Designer, or Web Applications Designer, is responsible for designing the overall layout and aesthetic for websites

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, visible influence skills, and likeable personality are a must. Desire to dig into the details and use your learned extensive and deep knowledge to direct and lead your team; hands-on leadership.

  • A strategic thinker, with drive and passion for continuous improvement and delivering results. A problem solver who can manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with design thinking, lifecycle management, and personas.

  • Web design and usability experience.

  • A user-centric mindset

  • Creative and analytical approach

  • Understanding of interaction design principles

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and several years of relevant user experience, digital media, graphic design or marketing experience. Basic computer programming skills in HTML or JavaScript or other popular programming platforms and languages

  • Experience managing projects

  • Experience extracting insights and driving actions from data and metrics

  • Human resource experience a plus, but not required
