The Americas help deliver a personalized shopping experience and flawless access to inventory from down the street and around the world, as well as tailored shopping experiences, including customized buying and selling. eBay aims to drive growth into new markets and drive value in the shopping and selling experience through “building, accelerating, and disrupting.” The team is comprised of marketing, merchandising, operations, business selling, consumer selling, and shipping. Our responsibilities include all aspects of the region including operations in the US, Canada and Latin America.

We are looking for an Account Manager of Apparel, Health & Beauty to join the team at eBay. In this role you will help drive growth of the Apparel, Health & Beauty categories through the management of strategic seller relationships. The Opportunity

The role is to help promote eBay’s value proposition within seller community. Working with brands and sellers, you will help to develop relationships that bring new and pre-loved apparel and beauty products into the lives of eBay buyers throughout the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential brand partners and apparel sellers and effectively pitch eBay seller business proposition.
  • Cultivate and own relationships with key brands to ensure they launch effectively on the platform and have a scaling plan in place.
  • Manage portfolio of brands on an ongoing basis, conducting regular reviews of performance and managing toward goals.
  • Work with internal partners to resolve seller issues and find opportunities in the selling journey.
  • Partner with category managers on opportunities to highlight sellers and assortments through exclusive product offerings and promotions.
  • Create reports on key success metrics and regularly report to brand partners and eBay leadership. Metrics should be related to, but not limited to, financial targets and brand perceptions.
  • Develop models that allows for brands and individual sellers to efficiently list and market their merchandise. Models should be adaptable to serve the brands’ motivations and purpose for listing on external platforms.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience managing accounts in an online retail or marketplace environment. Experience with secondhand markets and apparel preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of onboarding new clients onto a digital platform and assuring deliverables and targets are met for both the client and business.
  • Broad functional skillset with working knowledge of marketing, product, project management, operations, and retail analytics.
  • Ability to articulate vision and purpose for the initiatives and programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and simply.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to meet in person with accounts (up to 15% of month)
