Primary Job Responsibilities:

We have large and aggressive goals to grow our advertising revenues in 2022 and are looking for a Sr. Strategic Partnerships Manager to join the Ad Solutions team within the overall Advertising organization. In this role, you will focus on working with platform partners to grow demand for our advertising product portfolio.

This role will manage our largest and most strategic third party partnerships, as well as support new business development initiatives, in order to drive success for our Ad partners, our sellers and for the eBay Ads business. Specifically, your role will entail the following:

Partnership Development

  • Know the advertising products our sellers use inside and out and be able to represent our products to the partners we work with
  • Demonstrate & pitch partners on the value prop of adopting & integrating with our Ads APIs in order to further scale adoption & stimulate on-platform growth
  • Grow overall demand of our advertising products by working with ad tech platforms & agencies
  • Understand competitive capabilities and be able to extract what would most benefit eBay & its customers
  • Help identify & pursue new partnership opportunities to bring net new business to eBay & further scale Ad revenues

Develop & execute joint go-to-market plans in collaboration with partners

  • Work with our partners to organize & run webinars for sellers & brands, focused on awareness, education & best practices for our suite of Ads products
  • Run promotional campaigns to acquire new demand & increase adoption among existing users of eBay Ads products
  • Monitor KPIs & highlight the impact eBay Ads is having for our partners and mutual clients

Perform analysis that leads to insights and recommendations

  • Hands on development of models and analytics that lead to actionable decisions and recommendations
  • Understand areas of opportunity by developing detailed analysis of current and future partnerships
  • Work with Product partners to pilot and incubate new ideas in market and deliver detailed analysis/findings back to the relevant internal teams

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in digital advertising, e-commerce, performance marketing
  • Advertising experience working in a media agency, advertiser client, or publisher
  • Strong communication skills & client-facing experience
  • Prior experience with external partner management & working with cross-functional teams
  • Effective communicator and ability to work independently and as a leader of peers in a collaborative, creative, ever-changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • This role will be analytical so proven work experience in developing models, performing analysis and composing insights and recommendations
