eBay is seeking an experienced candidate interested in redefining global shipping and making international commerce seamless for buyers and sellers. The qualified candidate will bring their logistics experience as well as program management expertise to build world-class international transportation solutions and supply chain capabilities.

The Go To Market Program Manager will build seller activation solutions for growing international businesses. You will support the evolution of eBay’s export business model from new products and technology through global launch by implementing a broad range of seller activation strategies. In carrying out this role, you will work directly with internal teams including marketing, brand, legal, logistics and supply chain, finance, product, and a variety of external partners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive go-to-market strategy and operations – Define the go-to-market plans and processes to operationalize our business and product strategy. Ensure functional partners are aligned and informed on key objectives for the program/product.

  • Support the design, development, and deployment of the value proposition across products and services

  • Implement strategic projects related to marketing and activation, in tight collaboration with marketing, business and Product teams

  • Use internal and external data/analyses providing customer insight, and embed the 'voice of the customer' into the value proposition design

  • Define seller segmentation and channel strategy to drive seller activation and adoption

  • Uncover opportunities for growth and scale

  • Regularly review the Go To Market strategy to assess what is working and what can be improved, and to incorporate changes in marketing strategy, value proposition, seller segmentation, channels, etc.

  • Launch new product and business capabilities – Take an ownership approach and strategically thought partner with Product, Analytics and Business teams to develop end-to-end rollout plan, and project-manage the implementation. Identify and track performance, drive user adoption, measure progress and iterate on needs and requirements accordingly.

  • Facilitate comprehensive, integrated and logically sequenced milestone meetings with agendas that include key objectives, activities, document, and follow up on takeaways and actions

  • Establish a high standard of delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and with the desired outcomes

  • Actively lead and collaborate with cross-functional project teams to manage and optimize the Go-to-market deployment strategy

Basic Qualifications:

  • Growth mindset. Entrepreneurial spirit. Ambitious, self-aware, and able to drive success while working autonomously. Bias to action - with an appetite for driving business impact/execution.

  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • Deep understanding of marketing and sales operations, including how analytics are used to drive go-to-market strategy

  • Experience of creating and inspiring change management strategies for campaigns or products

  • Experience developing customer segmentation strategy and managing end-to-end customer activation

  • Flexibility/adaptability (ability to change direction based upon team and partner consensus)

  • Innovative thinking with ability to flex between creative, analytical, strategic, and operational aspects of role

  • Excellent problem solver with ability to synthesize and present complex concepts to both executive leadership and operational teams

  • Excellent analytical approach with broad commercial competence and thought leadership

  • Can lead & mobilize multiple partners (including executives) and balance multiple demands in a multifaceted fast-paced environment

  • Outstanding executive communication, collaboration and influencing skills at senior level

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, cross-functional projects at once

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, inclusive, team-oriented, cross-functional environment

  • Experience managing to deliverables and milestones: on time/within budget/meeting business needs

  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • SQL experience
