Lead Product Manager, eBay Motors

We are looking for an outstanding Lead Product Manager to join our eBay Motors organization. The team builds integrated category experiences for Parts & Accessories Sellers and Buyers:

  • Own aspects of the global buying and selling experience for eBay Motors Parts and Accessories.
  • Integrate experiences into the existing Buying flows on eBay that help eBay Motors Parts & Accessories buyers search, browse, research and buy parts & accessories.
  • Integrate experiences in the Search experience which increase visibility and conversion of the immense inventory within eBay P&A.
  • Continue eBay Motors effort to pursue areas involving buyer feedback and personalization.
  • Launch new and innovative ways for buyers to discover and purchase parts

Job Functions

  • Collaborate with researchers, designers and engineers charged with improving eBay Motors Parts & Accessories category experiences
  • Work with the larger cross-functional teams to define the team’s product strategy, business strategy, operation plan and detailed roadmap
  • Chip in to a roadmap that spans multiple global eBay sites ensuring specific regional priorities are integrated into the roadmap and prioritized to have the best impact globally.
  • Communicate team status and priorities to executives, partner teams, and the product team
  • Initiate the process of proposing, leading and communicating strategic analytical studies to deepen the understanding of best-in-class vehicle parts & accessories selling & buying
  • Drive a culture of quality, customer-centricity, scalability, and reliability

Job Requirements

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with an ability to articulate the customer problem and drive best-in-class solutions to them
  • At least five years of industry experience in product management or a related role
  • Experience in vehicle-related commerce and/or supply chain and familiarity with the auto parts industry selling and buying standards and terminology is a plus
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams is desirable
  • Proficiency in basic data analysis using tool such as Excel, SQL, Tableau
  • Think and work independently, demonstrate creativity and deliver quick results
  • Able to sort through ambiguity in order to drive to practical business impact
  • Experience with data science and machine learning is desirable
