Next Seller Action Product lead

Job Description: 

  • In this position you will be the lead PM for the eBay Next Seller Action framework and experiences.  The problem we are looking to solve is selling on eBay has a steep learning curve, even for business sellers who sell on other market places.

  • Sellers are often confused / not clear about ‘how to eBay’ they learn via mistakes and hours spent on youtube. The goal is to transform Overview Page of Seller Hub into a true landing page that helps sellers along their journey and present relevant content/ actions. 

  • The PM will lead an agile team but also work with other PMs closely to make sure our product deliveries are all coordinated and not siloed

  • You will be the PM lead for Seller Hub Overview Page with a goal to transform the page such that we can help sellers succeed on eBay. 

  • You will own the following components/ experiences: Seller Hub Overview Framework, Seller Hub Overview ‘Next Seller Action’ modules (tasks, suggestions, reminders,  milestones & seller level) Next Seller Actions other touch points in the Seller Hub experience and any relevant NSA domain services 

  • You will work very closely with the design team to create and iterate on designs based on seller feedback

Experience/ Qualifications:

  • 5-10+ years of experience understanding customer needs, assimilating information from various sources to crystallize into the root cause of the challenge

  • Experience on consumer/ small business / customer facing products is a must. Experience working with design team and delivering UX based products is a must.

  • Ability to translate business & customer problems / needs into features and solutions, delivering delightful and friction less customer experiences.

  • Creating success for the customer and delivering business results.

  • Proven track record of product management experience, preferably in an e-commerce environment. Experience working with small business sellers is a plus. 

  • Analytical and comfortable making data driven decisions

  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative in nature, ability to make the complex seem simple

  • Ability to collaborate across teams, both yours and others’, to build and execute complex business plans and strategies

  • Leader with a vision who inspires those around to bring the best version of themselves

  • Experience in operating in global environments across cultures, locations, and time zone

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or Computer Science
