Primary Job Responsibilities:

We have large and aggressive goals to grow our advertising revenues and are looking for a product driven candidate to join the entrepreneurial APAC Advertising team within the overall Global Advertising organization. In this role, you will lead the advertising engagement cross boarder sellers, drive adoption and revenue growths of eBay advertising solutions in the region.

Specifically, your role will be the following:

  • Partnering with account managers to develop account-level plans for strategic accounts & partners to unlock advertising budget, and deepen engagement in advertising
  • Develop advertising pitch to educate sellers about our suite of advertising solutions, and showcase value proposition and key customer benefits of our ad products
  • Find opportunities and gaps across seller segments / verticals, develop & execute programs to drive ads product adoption & revenue growth across solutions at scale
  • Understand the customer journey and eBay Ads’ adoption, gather standard methodologies, conduct analysis and ultimately determine how to apply these learnings at scale into the Go-to-Market model
  • Conduct business review, offering consultancy to clients to help them optimise advertising spend and campaign, and improve overall ads efficiency
  • Understand competitive landscapes and industry trend in the fast growing eCommerce space, be able to identify and extract what’s most benefit for eBay
  • Identify current product gaps, develop business requirements and solutions that will move the needle to accelerate growth of our ads business
  • Perform analyses for regional/local strategic and operational projects

Qualifications

Key/Required Components:

  • 7+ years of experience in Performance marketing, digital advertising and/or e-Commerce
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Mater/MBA is preferred
  • Track record of client management & reaching and exceeding business targets
  • Team management experience

Preferred:

  • Self-motivated, highly analytical, data-driven, embody a high degree of ownership, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised, strong multi-tasking skills, and be efficient in ambiguous situations
  • Strategic problem solver, detail-oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture and prioritise for the long-term
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Special interest if you have worked in e-commerce /internet companies (Amazon, Google, Alibaba, Tencent etc.)
  • This role is based in Shanghai or Shenzhen.
