The Account Executive role will be responsible for promoting Kijiji’s full portfolio of advertising solutions to key dealer partners in the Southwest Ontario territory.

Based in London, Ontario, the successful candidate will serve as the primary business contact for a book of franchise and independent dealer partners, and would champion these relationships by providing solutions that address their challenges unique to those dealers. Understanding the long term value of our partnership and acting as a true digital consultant will be the keys to success. The candidate needs to be passionate about working with their customers and be able to demonstrate the benefits of working with Kijiji Autos!

Responsibilities will Include:

  • Defining sales focus through quarterly sales objectives and driving sales
  • Develop client accounts by actively collecting and reviewing information to identify high-level strategic opportunities.
  • Focus on the achievement of customer happiness, revenue generation within existing assignments, and long-term strategic goals.
  • Prepare powerful business presentations utilizing data, reports and insights from the market.
  • Work internally with sales operation and support teams
  • Responds to client's needs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of new and existing Kijiji product offerings as well as new products in the market, industry trends and new developments
  • Provide reports on all activity using Salesforce, as well as forecasts on revenue numbers

Required Skills and Experience

  • Overall strong communication and collaboration skills in order to ensure strategies are executed accurately
  • Consistent track record in sales, or related experience
  • Polished Sales Skills - sales pitch, negotiating/closing business, objection handling
  • Background in web based advertising – SEO, and SEM, web search, digital media etc. is a plus
  • Understanding of the automotive industry is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Results-oriented with a strong work ethic and time organizational skills
  • Phenomenal teammate with a positive demeanour

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

Wage: Competitive, uncapped commissions
