  • Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures and algorithms. Excellent problem solving skills is also a must
  • Expertise required in object-oriented design methodology and large scale application development in Java (or any other object oriented language)
  • Good understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JS, Ajax and should be able to work independently
  • Proven results-oriented person with a focus on delivery in a high-velocity, high-scalability and high-availability environment
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn new technologies and dig into problems. Good verbal and written skills
  • Experience with distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, NoSQL databases and Node.js is a plus
  • Experience in native automation is a must and knowledge of automation tools Espresso for Android and XCTest for iOS
  • 7 years of work experience or MS in Computer Science plus 5 years of experience. 
  • 2 years of experience managing people.
  • Define overall test strategy for assigned features.
  • Estimate testing effort, prioritize projects, plan implementations and help rollout changes.
  • Define automation strategy and ensure testability.
  • Develop deep understanding of the product, engineering processes, tools and concepts in order to effectively narrow down defects.
  • Participates in test design and test systems architecture discussions, proposes and discusses solutions to system and product changes that are related to domain area.
  • Coordinate testing across multiple teams.

Work with other QE engineers, product managers, and product developers to ensure that product specifications describe innovative solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability, and result in achievable implementation schedules and a product that meets agreed-upon quality standards
