Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the development of Metadata platform tools & services, related algorithms, and processes supporting eBay’s Global Taxonomy
  • Design end to end product solutions, write product requirements/design documents, and manage a prioritized product roadmap
  • Ensure we have great technical documentation, well defined SLAs and support processes
  • Analyze the ROI on associated investments, assess technical feasibility and complexity, potential business lift
  • Define and measure KPIs to track adoption, performance, and satisfaction
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Build positive relationships through a strong commitment to high quality and on time delivery.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software Product Management experience
  • Ability to understand technical designs and discuss architectural concepts
  • Good understanding of user experience and user interface concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with experience in translating complex business needs into technical solutions
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team across different time zones
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Prior experience building metadata based large scale applications preferred
