eBay DE Head of Partner Management

This role will report to Director GPM iRegion & Global Functions. In your role as eBay DE Head of Partner Management you will work closely with our partners to ensure short term and long term success of our partnerships by managing day to day interactions with partners as well as working on more long term initiatives and goals. You will interact and work closely with our DE GSD Team, Global Learning Organisation, Global Work Force Management and other regional and global organisations


  • Own relationship with outsourced partner organisations in DE
    • Managing and interfacing with partners on a day to day basis
  • Managing DE partner landscape including DE partner strategy development  
  • Partner Supply Management Process
    • Participation in weekly Capacity Planning meetings
    • Review of partner commitments and report of supply demand outlook
    • Monitoring and managing delivery of partner hours against demand
    • Understanding and reviewing of supply drivers such as staffing levels, absenteeism, vacation planning or attrition
    • Owning and driving of actions plans in terms of non-conformance by partners
  • Interfacing with all relevant stake holders such as WFO, Learning and Quality organisation and DE GSD or Business Excellence organisation
  • Participating in cross functional operations meetings to represent the partner management team and provide input on relevant partner performance
  • Participation and operational and strategic projects to drive further improvements at eBay partners
  • Prepare and support new contract negotiations with partners
  • Lead and project manage new partner onboarding process


  • High level understanding of eBay business model
  • Experience in partner management and relationship management
  • Working Knowledge of Capacity Planning in particular:
    • Shrink
    • FTE
    • Productive Hours
    • Occupancy/Availability
    • Volume forecasting modelling
  • Good understanding of commercial contracts and contract management
  • Deep understanding of Call Centre Operations and common KPI’s
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently with little guidance required
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Highly adaptable to adjust to changing business needs
  • 10 years in a partner management/relationship management environment or similar experience
  • Fluent German and English + additional major language such as French, Italian or Spanish a distinct advantage
  • Experience working for Call Center outsourcing/BPO organisation


  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • MBA a distinct advantage
