The Data Feeds Product Manager will work to build and enhance the complex infrastructure to keep marketing partners up to date on eBay inventory and enable highly targeted large scale marketing campaigns.
As the CEO of the product, the PM will own the vision and execution of a key component in eBay's marketing platform.
eBay is looking for a strong product leader well versed in large data infrastructure with solid technical understanding and great communication skills. Internal stakeholder management and great product vision are key to success in this role. Daily responsibilities are around capturing input, translating into actionable product plans and prioritizing delivery without losing focus on the long-term.
This role should have deep knowledge of big data and API integrations and the unique talent to connect business ideas to highly complex technical integrations.
Stay current on the current marketing and big data landscape. Advise and influence stakeholders to capitalize on opportunities. Maintain and groom the product backlog, create user stories and gather requirements. Balance short term priorities with long term investments. Build trust with stakeholders by maintaining an understandable, accurate roadmap. Collaborate with other product owners to insure seamless integrations and reduce redundant services.
Maintain collaborative relationships with engineers. Proactively communicate with internal stakeholders on opportunities, issues, requests, vision and rationale. Manage external partner relationships, influence their roadmap, provide guidance, prioritization and manage issue resolutions.
Desired traits and experience:
5+ years experience with large data sets and API integrations as a strong agile product owner. Own vision and see it through. Have solid communication skills and habits. Stay on top of stakeholder communication proactively. Be a thought leader.
Experience working in the digital space around Display, Social, Affiliate and Search Marketing. Experience working in complex matrix cross-functional team structures.
