Role description

In the young, dynamic and international Advertiser Success team, we are looking for a Advertising Technology Manager BeNeLux to join the team. This person will be responsible for shaping the future of our third party Advertising technology of Marktplaats, 2dehands and 2ememain. 

You have an in-depth understanding of the sell- and buy-side advertising technology possibilities and limitations. In close partnership with stakeholders within the advertising team and product/tech peers you ideate, define, experiment and craft impactful advertising propositions for our advertising customers.

You follow the latest advertising technology trends, know how to build an ad stack based on our advertisers (clients) needs, and you are able to create a vision and articulate it in an inspiring and data driven manner. You will be the thought leader that will inspire stakeholders to deliver against the strategic goals we set within the Advertiser Success Team.

You deliver detailed information for prioritization, lead the advertising roadmap and liaise with the product/tech team to handle trade-offs toward upholding our high bar for third party advertising and balancing it with other content on our platforms. Next to this you’re hands-on to tackle issues, contact partners and troubleshoot when necessary. 

Your responsibilities

  • Development of our sell-side 3rd party advertising technology stack

  • Implement and manage (new) integrations with sell-side partners

  • Propose innovative and new ways to drive value for our customers

  • Manage impediments, questions and partners related to our advertising technology stack

  • setting us up for success in the cookieless era that is upon us

Skills or experience

Job requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience working in digital advertising technology or similar jobs, preferably sell-side;

  • Natural consensus-builder and collaborative decision-making style across partners, commercial, design, and product & tech teams;

  • Tech savvy, eye for detail, self-motivated and results driven. You challenge the status quo with the ability to articulate a path to get there;

  • Analytical mindset,  curious and passionate about learning and building great products to help us and our advertisers grow;

  • Team player with excellent collaboration, communication and organization skills;

  • Ability to quickly follow-up on impediments – having a ‘can-do’ attitude;

  • Able to work independently and within a group to manage several projects with tight deadlines and to push projects to completion;

  • Excellent organizational, stakeholder and project management skills;

  • Flexible way of working - able to cope with a fast-changing environment;

  • Full English professional proficiency (written and verbal) is required;

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Required knowledge of: SSP’s (o.a. PreBid), Google Ad Manager (GAM);

  • Preferred knowledge of: DSP’s, Adobe, DV360;

  • Passionate about (digital) advertising and marketing, and the latest developments in our (advertising and e-commerce) industry;

  • Flexible, kind, enthusiastic attitude with the willingness to walk the extra mile.
