Responsibilities include:
Design and build high-performing, reliable solutions for high-throughput, distributed systems using a variety of third-party and eBay internal libraries and frameworks
Work with other product teams across multiple eBay business units
Balance strong ownership and teamwork
Research, innovate, deliver and grow
Requirements:
Studying for a degree in Computer Science, preferably third or fourth year
Solid understanding of the fundamentals, preferably prior work experience
Committed to working in an agile environment
Be a strong proponent of and adhere to high quality standards
Proficiency in Java, with Scala a big plus
Experience developing micro services
Experience with databases (MySQL/Postgres/Oracle/MongoDB)
Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink, Storm)
