As a part of eBay's Compliance Operations team, you will work with a team of analysts responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance, production and development of eBay's AML/KYC program. This position will require the candidate to act as a Compliance Operations process coordinator, supporting other team members and handling cross-team processes.

What You'll Do

  • Perform Enhanced Due Diligence reviews of high-risk customers.
  • Analyze financial transaction activity and thoroughly document review findings to include all pertinent facts, information and findings.
  • Manage day-to-day EDD operations including meeting alert SLA’s, training, hiring, mentor, and managing team members.
  • Act independently to support other Compliance Operations teams and initiatives
  • Handle complex problems and issue resolution with minimal guidance from leadership
  • Review escalations of unusual activity in partnership with the AML Legal team.
  • Resolve eBay member account issues including reviewing appropriate documentation and ensuring compliance requirements are met
  • Act as an advisor to other analysts to problem solve issues or complex cases
  • Look for creative solutions to streamline or improve established AML/KYC processes
  • Actively document new or revised policies and procedures documents and be a key contributor in providing input on key projects and programs across the organization
  • Support the AML/KYC leadership team with special cases and projects that require extensive research

What You Have

  • 4+ years in an AML compliance operations role or 4+ years of fraud/compliance experience
  • Experience with leading a team in an agile environment, including experience with reporting on production and quality metrics
  • Extensive knowledge of AML regulations as well as typologies and red flags for transaction monitoring
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in Sanctions, Transaction Monitoring, KYC and other compliance due diligence functions
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • An ability to consistently meet all deadlines and maintain high quality output while working on multiple functions, projects and/or tasks
  • Have self-motivation to complete individual responsibilities while leading the team in meeting organizational goals
  • An ability to make independent decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Ability to work evening hours to attend global meetings as needed
  • Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with an attention to detail
  • CAMS or CFCS certification is preferred
