As part of the Global Compliance Operations team, you will work with a team of analysts responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance, production and development of eBay's AML Transaction Monitoring (TM) program.

What You'll Do:

  • Execute Transaction Monitoring (TM) procedures and review results for unusual activity

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in Sanctions, Transaction Monitoring, KYC and other compliance due diligence functions

  • Work independently by taking initiative to meet established SLAs and productivity targets while maintaining quality standards

  • Handle sophisticated problems and issue resolution with guidance from leadership

  • Resolve AML referrals from external payment advisors/vendors

  • Resolve eBay member account issues including reviewing appropriate documentation and ensuring compliance requirements are met

  • Act as an advisor to other analysts to problem solve issues or sophisticated cases

  • Look for creative solutions to streamline or improve established AML processes

  • Collaborate with other team members and mangers to be a catalyst on changes to policies, procedures and other initiatives

  • Support the AML leadership team with special cases and projects that require extensive research

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with focus in business, accounting or finance

  • 2+ years of AML/KYC experience or 4+ years of fraud/compliance experience

  • ACAMS or CFCS certification is helpful

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent digital literacy including knowledge of MS Office applications

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail

  • Ability to consistently meet all deadlines while maintaining high quality output

  • Works effectively and independently, while maintaining a collaborative demeanor with the team

  • Ability to make independent decisions in accordance within established policies and procedures

  • The flexibility for an agile environment

  • An attitude to be a phenomenal teammate
