The Risk & Protections Strategy Team’s focus is to ensure the integrity of our marketplace for buyers and sellers who transact with us every single day. The scope of our charter includes Risk Management Strategy, Policy, Decision Sciences, and Policy Operations.

We are seeking a Vendor Management Specialist. This role will play an important function by supporting a porfolio of vendor relationships -- all as part of providing amazing services to our e-Commerce community! This position involves working with multiple, integral teams within eBay and external companies whose services we use. Are you a standout colleague with experience in external vendor management, exceptional organizational skills, strong business intuition, and ability to work both independently and cross-functionally?

Responsibilities

  • Support multiple vendor relationships -- with touchpoints across the entire lifecycle, including contract management, onboarding and integration, Invoice processing, performance management, and offboarding

  • Partner with Vendor Management team to shepherd new vendors through the onboarding process, including engagement with legal, compliance, finance, business and technology teams to ensure MNDAs, MSAs, and SOW are completed on time

  • Partner with internal teams to establish and maintain a centralized repository for vendor documentation

  • Track and report progress on key vendor initiatives and performance relative to expectations, working closely with Product Managers and Engineering on vendor roadmap and integration and coordinating quarterly business reviews; assist in establishing a structured, automated tracking process of the usage of vendors’ services

  • Resolve invoicing, payments, usage, contractual, and workflow related questions on vendor relationships

  • Conduct industry analysis and evaluation of possible new vendor engagements. Facilitate communications between internal teams and vendors to address questions regarding the vendor’s solutions/services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant university education preferred

  • 5 years in a Vendor Management, Risk Management, or similar field, ideally in technology space

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; SQL, JSON a plus

  • Impeccable communication, ownership & organization skills

  • Track record of performing beyond expectations in a fast-paced and changing environment

  • Proven track record of building strong relationships at multiple levels, internally and externally
