We are looking to hire a CRM Analytics & Insights leader to partner with our Global Growth Team. This role will hire, mentor, and lead a team of top analysts and data scientists to drive insights and identify new growth opportunities across a broad array of acquisition and retention channels. The position will be responsible to provide deep dive analytics for performance questions, lead theY end to end testing design and read outs, and drive insights and optimization to change the product and program roadmap for our customers in their relationships with eBay.
To be successful in this role, the leader will be able to demonstrate a balance in guiding and influencing the vision of the overall marketing teams while at the same time be extremely comfortable doing actual hands-on analyses using tools & packages such as R, Python etc. In addition to delivering insights on existing exiting marketing initiatives, successful leaders will come up with innovative growth opportunities based on insights and create momentum behind them by bringing along senior leaders in the company. You will have a strong background and experience in quantitative analysis, data mining and at the same time be able to clearly articulate complex ideas into clear, actionable recommendations for marketing leaders.
- 8+ years experience in analytics/insights role in technology companies with growing scope and responsibilities.
- Shown ability of using data driven decision and insights to drive product roadmaps and outcomes in leading technology companies.
- Shown and demonstrated ability in building and mentoring high performance analytics teams.
- Lead and use resources in offshore analytics centers to ensure timely quality delivery of projects
- Build out fact base through deep and innovative analysis of eBay's large and rich datasets
- Evaluate performance of tested features and deliver final test results in a clear, concise and actionable manner
- Strong technical and quantitative background with Masters degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering. PhD degrees preferred.
- Hands-on ability in using various tools and packages such as R, SPSS, Matlab, SQL etc.
