As the Production Designer you will enhance the collaborative efforts of the studio creative and design operations and programming teams, bringing forward an in-depth understanding of the print and manufacturing industries and how to translate digital concepts for production.

Responsibilities range from interfacing with printers, manufacturers, suppliers, and other vendors to direct projects to collaborating with our design team to ensure outcomes that are elegant, beautiful, smart, and ultimately contribute to driving engagement and loyalty to eBay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead production process from commencement to completion, meticulously following through on asset assignment and delivery in each stage of the process.
  • Communicate project status, budget, and any associated risk to program lead.
  • Consult on projects, providing the best delivery routes, methodologies, and best practices, and advise on how to secure preferred outcomes while maintaining concept integrity.
  • Interface with printers, manufacturers, suppliers, and an assortment of vendors to source product, secure specs, and manage projects.
  • Manage print, manufacturing, and supplier production schedules for assets in connection with a series of events and programs with interconnected and competing deadlines.
  • Liaise with a team of multidisciplinary designers to stage assets for delivery to print and manufacturing vendors.
  • Track assets and maintain files for all assets

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a Production Designer or similar role.
  • Experience with design and prototyping tools, such as Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, InVision or equivalents.
  • Exceptional time and project management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage uncertainty, and switch between discovery and delivery tracks in a single conversation
  • Experience navigating partner and client relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Design or Design-related field
  • 5+ years of visual design experience
  • Ability to navigate the priorities of a wide range of stakeholders
